Ivey Jenkins-Long
Builder
Ivey Jenkins-Long is a carpenter, woodworker, mama, and all around creative enthusiast with over 25 years of experience in the building world (I know, she looks barely a year over 35... but she started young!). Before settling down in Bucks County, she worked professionally in New York City and the Hudson Valley as a custom furniture maker, trim carpenter, theater set carpenter, new construction builder, and Passive House Specialist (ask her to explain later- if you have a lot of time to spare), and has always loved creating projects that are fun and engaging. Since becoming a mom in early 2024, Ivey realized how lucky she was to be exposed to the art of building with your hands from an early age. Launching BC Squared felt like a no-brainer!

Safety is our number one priority. Accessibility is a near second. All sharp objects and power tools will be handled and operated by experienced instructors only. Our workshops are fully mobile with all tools, materials, and safety gear transported to host locations. The ideas behind BC2 have been tuned and honed for several years now. We are still in the launch phase and we are open to collaborating with anyone interested in the vision!
